Senior Project Officer (Mental Health Lived-experience Advisor – Consumer)

Safer Care Victoria

“We are seeking a person who brings lived-experience as a consumer of Victoria’s mental health system, and can ensure the views of consumers are central to the design and delivery of Safer Care Victoria’s large-scale improvement initiatives. You will contribute your perspective and expertise to guide, advise and influence the planning and delivery of the mental health improvement initiatives. You will work in partnership within a team leading the initiatives in Safer Care Victoria and be part of the Mental Health Improvement Program, focusing on the priorities identified by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.

In addition to being part of a supportive team in Safer Care Victoria, you will work alongside peers and have opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in improvement science and approaches.”

This position ensures the views of carers are central to the design and delivery of Safer Care Victoria’s large-scale improvement initiatives. You will contribute your perspective and expertise to guide, advise and influence the planning and delivery of the mental health improvement initiatives. You will work in partnership within a team leading the initiatives in Safer Care Victoria and be part of the Mental Health Improvement Program, focusing on the priorities identified by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.
