Lockdown Update

Due to the recent increase in case numbers, all of our staff will be working from home as of the 17th of August for the time being. Up until recently, we have had a small number of staff in the office, but with the increased case numbers and exposure sites, we have decided to make the call and all work from home. This may mean there may be some delays in our responses to calls and emails as we adapt.

If you are looking for support during this time, and nobody picks up your call, don’t worry. You will be directed to our voicemail and our staff will get back to you as soon as possible. When you call just make sure you make it clear which service you are seeking, such as Advocacy, NDIS, or another request.

Hopefully we can all work together and get on top of this outbreak, and be back to normal soon. If you are struggling with these latest restrictions and need some peer support, feel free to give our amazing CHECK-IN Peer Support team a call on 1800 845 009.

We also strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated if applicable, as that is one of the best things we can do to keep everyone safe. You can find out more about how to get vaccinated, and answer some of your questions about vaccinations, here!

We understand that during these times, people may need additional support. VMIAC is not a crisis service, but if you need crisis services or other services during this time, feel free to check out our additional COVID-19 support resources.
