We will be holding online workshops to get feedback from persons with lived experience or living with mental health or emotional challenges on the Royal Commission’s recommendations. Meaningful and lasting changes to Victoria’s mental health system can only happen if the views of people living with mental illness, their families and carers are listened to and respected.
VMIAC will then collate all responses and feedback received and create a report to share with the Royal Commission. This report will feed into the final recommendations that the Royal Commission put forward. This report will be released in October 2020.
Do you have a lived experience of the mental health system? Have your say and attend one of our online workshops! You must express interest through Eventbrite to be able to attend. You will be remunerated for your time. You must have a lived experience of the mental health system to attend. If you are unable to attend any of the online workshops:

WORKSHOP DATES AND TIMES
Due to the significant interest we have had in these workshops we have decided to bring forward the start time to 10:00am to be able to facilitate two online sessions. Once you register, you will be contacted with which session you have been assigned to. Please still register your interest for a workshop even if the event is full, we will be holding further workshops in the future and we will notify you when new dates are confirmed.
The two sessions are as follows:
Session 1: 10:00am – 10:50am
Session 2: 11:10am – 12:00pm
