We will be holding online workshops to get feedback from persons with lived experience or living with mental health or emotional challenges on the Royal Commission’s recommendations. Meaningful and lasting changes to Victoria’s mental health system can only happen if the views of people living with mental illness, their families and carers are listened to and respected.
VMIAC will then collate all responses and feedback received and create a report to share with the Royal Commission. This report will feed into the final recommendations that the Royal Commission put forward. This report will be released in October 2020.

You will be remunerated for your time. You must have a lived experience of the mental health system to attend. If you are unable to attend any of the online workshops:

Once you register, you will be contacted with which session you have been assigned to. Please still register your interest for a workshop and join the waiting list even if the event is full, as we will be holding further workshops in the future and we will notify you when new dates are confirmed.
