About the AGM

We want our members to have their say, therefore, at this year’s AGM, we are asking for our members to vote on an amendment to the Constitution as well as Committee of Management positions including the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.

Position descriptions are on our website here.

Due to COVID-19, this event will be held entirely online. The event itself will be held on Zoom and the voting via Survey Monkey – an online survey platform. You will therefore need to register an email address with us in order to receive an agenda and the invitation, as well as have access to a good internet connection and a device to use.

If you wish to register a proxy, please contact us via email at secretary@vmiac.org.au. A proxy form will be sent out via email or post upon request.

Heidi Everett

This year’s AGM will feature musician Heidi Everett, performing live and online. Heidi has been playing music in public since finding a guitar in Frankston psych ward in 1994 and it’s been a long journey from being unable to look and speak to people, to singing. In 2008, Heidi featured on Andrew Denton’s globally awarded documentary about schizophrenia, has spoken many times on television and radio, and directs Schizy Inc, Qualia Theatre and Heidi Everett Productions. Heidi lives and works on Wurundjeri land.
