You can either watch our free webinar live, Thursday at 3.30-4.30pm via Zoom, or view the recording at any time on our website!

To attend, register your interest for the specific date at Eventbrite, and a Zoom link will be shared with you ahead of the webinar.

There will be an allotted time for questions at the end, however, please be aware that the session is recorded, therefore, if you have questions and do not want to feature, please email us after at reception@vmiac.org.au or call on (03) 9380 3900.

If you experience any distress during the webinar, our Peer Support Workers will be on hand to discuss this through with you outside of the session.

Prof Kulkarni directs a large psychiatric research group, the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc), dedicated to discovering new treatments, new understanding and new services for people with a range of mental illnesses.

Prof Kulkarni became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1989 and was awarded a PhD from Monash University in 1997 for her thesis “Women and Psychosis”. She is internationally acknowledged as a leader in the field of reproductive hormones and their impact on mental health. Prof Kulkarni was elected the President of the International Association of Women’s Mental Health in 2017.

Thursday July 16th 3.30-4.30pm: Craig Wallace, What if the mental health system allowed us all to speak our diverse truths fearlessly?

After declaring his lived experience in his working life In 2011, Craig has worked in Community Health, at VMIAC, Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) and the Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL). Craig has recently been appointed the Senior Adviser, Lived Experience (consumer) at Mental Health Reform Victoria (MHRV).

Thursday July 23rd 3.30-4.30pm: Anna Love

Anna Love has been Victoria’s Chief Mental Health Nurse, Department Of Health and Human Services Victoria since December 2015. Anna commenced her career in Scotland in the early 80’s and moved to Australia in 1989. She has worked in both Inpatient and Community settings as a clinician and as a manager and as a Director of Nursing both in Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol services.
