Disability Royal Commission Information and Support Session

Do you have an important story to share about your experiences of psychosocial disability?
VMIAC is here to support you make a submission to the Federal Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. This session, hosted by Xan and Romy, our Disability Royal Commission peer-workers, will discuss what the Royal Commission is, why it is important, and how we can make sure our voices are heard.
This is a session to learn how you can make a submission and find out more about the Disability Royal Commission. This session will introduce to some of the avaliable resources, and give you information how we can help you in our one on one support with our peer workers.
These sessions are for everyone with a psycho-social disability who want their experiences and perspectives to be counted as part of the Royal Commission, or simply want to know more. If you are unsure if your experiences count as part of this Royal Commission, come anyway, because you might find that it does count, because you count.
