Experiences of police apprehension for psychosocial disability: a co-designed investigation

Have you been taken to a mental health service by police? 

We want to hear about your experience.  

Funded by the National Disability Research Partnership, a team from RMIT University, and partnering with VMIAC (Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council), is speaking to people about their experiences. The research team includes consumer academics.  

If you are over 18 years old, have been taken to a mental health service by police, and are not currently in a forensic or in-patient mental health unit, you can take part in this research. 

The results of this research will be used to recommend reform to police responses to mental health crisis.
