In this video, VMIAC’s CEO Craig Wallace discusses our website’s new research page which details our process for promoting research opportunities, submissions for the compulsory treatment panel, lived and living experience workforce (LLEW) development initiatives and upcoming VMIAC LLEW roles. He also updates us on amendments to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and progress on VMIAC’s Strategic Plan 2023-2026. Lastly, he reflects on how VMIAC is responding to the fact that no funding was allocated to ‘Our Agency’ (Recommendation 29 of the Royal Commission) and how you might be able to get involved.
