To help our CEO Craig Wallace prepare for the upcoming Safewards Forum, we would love to hear from you if:
- You have been a consumer in an inpatient unit that has implemented Safewards and your experience was influenced or changed by some aspect of Safewards OR
- You are or have been a lived experience workforce member in an inpatient unit that has implemented Safewards and there are aspects of that which you think Craig should know about.
The Safewards Forum will be taking place on Thursday May 4 2:30-3:30PM at Marvel Stadium. The discussion will be focused on exploring how services can maintain and, where necessary, progress the successful implementation of Safewards.
Craig will be joined on the panel by Chief Mental Health Nurse Anna Love, Vice President of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Lisa McKenzie and representatives from Tandem and a health service. 120-150 mental health inpatient staff from 18 services will be in attendance, including mental health nurses and lived experience advisors.
